Postdoctoral position at Johns Hopkins, Baltimore, US

Postdoctoral position at Johns Hopkins, with a designated visiting scholar position at Sandia National Laboratories (NM), focused on in-situ transmission electron microscopy (TEM) experiments and machine learning to investigate radiation damage processes in both pure metals and high entropy alloys.

The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic, multi-university team which includes both theoretical and experimental personnel. Ideal candidates will have experience with in-situ and high resolution TEM (including aberration correction), electron diffraction, sample fabrication, and defect and microstructural analysis of metallic systems. Experience with image processing, scripting/programming (Python, Matlab, C++) for data processing is preferred, and must be comfortable to travel periodically to Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM.
