Post-Doc positions at the Laboratory for Mechanics and Nanostructures at Empa, Switzerland

Empa (Thun, Switzerland) is looking for three post-docs in the field of small scale mechanics and electron microscopy:

- Post-doc in the field of electron microscopy:

Experience in analytical TEM techniques is a prerequisite and experience with EBSD and related microstructure analysis techniques is desirable.

Applicants are invited for a 1-3-year appointment starting any time between August 2017 and June 2018.

- Post-Doc in the field of modelling of micromechanical properties of composite and microarchitectured materials:

Experience in mechanical modelling  using Abaqus or Comsol and programming skills in Fortran, C++, Python, or similar languages are desirable.
