Dear member of the Mecano network, dear colleague,
The Mecano School, a once every 4 years event* will take place in Cargese, Corsica this fall, from October 28 to Nov 2, 2018.
Lectures in the morning will be given by prominent personalities in the field of materials science/ mechanical behaviour at small scale:
Jean-Noël Aqua, Daniel Caillard, Gerhard Dehm, Marc Fivel, Daniel Kiener, Gérard Michot, Thomas Pardoen, Laurent Pizzagalli, Gunter Richter, Olivier Thomas
There are still a few spots for 20-30 minutes presentations in the afternoon. This is a unique opportunity to share your research.
Last things:
· This is a fee-less school, and only the lodging (less than 400€/5 days) will remain at your charge.
· Registration will be open from Aug1st to September 30th, on the school website, but the number of attendants will be limited to 80, so you might circulate this, but moderately!
· The deadline for oral presentation abstracts is set to June 30th
